Captain Bill
Captain Bill is an RYA licensed Yachtmaster as well as a USCG licensed 100 ton Master. Though he only began his professional career a few years ago, Bill has been sailing all of his life. He grew up on the waters of Charleston, SC and comes from a strong background of sailors on both sides of his family. He has extensive experience in racing, deliveries, and charter work up and down the East Coast of the United States as well as in the Caribbean. Bill has spent the majority of the last 2 years in and around the waters of the US and Caribbean especially the British Virgin Islands, and considers them his home away from home. Because of this, you and your guests can expect an amazing itinerary on your vacation due to his in-depth local knowledge of the area.

Before he joined on with Clasship I, Bill was the captain aboard a 105 foot charter sailboat where he proved himself to be charter brokers favorite charter captain. He prides himself on running a safe boat, and a fun crew. Bill also has a strong background in customer service, and tourism/hospitality so you can expect only the highest levels of service from him and his crew. In addition to sailing, Bill is quite the adventure junkie. He enjoys activities such as SCUBA diving, free diving, spear fishing, hiking, kayaking, competitive swimming, and dinghy racing. He is an excellent sailing instructor and loves to teach people as much as they wish to learn.

Bill is a rare find, he is loved by his crew, charter brokers and guests, just read some of the testimonials. Bill is a top charter captain who above all else really cares how your charter is.

Deck Hand
Jessica is English; she has been around the sea all her life, from sailing in her Optimist dinghy as a child, teaching watersports in Sydney Harbour and diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Whilst her friends took the conventional route and went to university, Jessica decided a life on the high seas was for her. She decided after working on several charter yachts mainly in Australia to join us on Clasship 1.

Having worked in hospitality for three years back in England, Jessica is well qualified to keep the boat interior shipshape and look after you aboard Clasship 1. She's also superb with kids, having taught children as young as 5 how to sail and windsurf, she also speaks Spanish fluently as well as a little Italian.

Jessica interests include yacht racing, windsurfing, surfing and scuba diving, she is well suited to teach anyone sailing in our laser Pico and windsurfing on our beginners windsurf. When not on charter Jessica loves to read.
Joel is from New Zealand and is our great engineer, we break it, he fixes it!

He is a PADI rescue diver and his interests include: Free diving, snow boarding, swimming, racing cars, freediving, ice hockey, scuba diving, fishing and surfing. Joel speaks some Spanish. Yet again Joel can teach you all our water sports. As with all our crew, children love him!
Nathalie grew up in Paris, and started sailing at an early age in the cold waters of Brittany in Western France. After obtaining degrees in English literature as well as interpretation/communication, she decided to pursue her lifelong dream, so she moved to the Mediterranean coast to begin her sailing career. She worked for a year as deckhand/stewardess on several classic wooden sailing yachts in the Med, and then completed an Atlantic crossing on a 77 foot racing sail boat.

Nathalie has been a welcome asset to the crew and clients aboard Clasship I since she joined as hostess in early 2011. She has extensive hospitality/service experience in some of Paris' best restaurants and can therefore provide you and your guests with top-notch service a la francaise.

Besides being a skilled sailor and fabulous hostess, Nathalie speaks 5 languages including French, English, German, Spanish, and Russian. She is also a skilled photographer, and enjoys SCUBA diving, swimming, and windsurfing.
